Use text-readable PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown where possible. Clean text improves extraction, search, source citations, and expert review. Scanned PDFs can be useful, but they may be harder to parse if optical character recognition is poor.
Upload one logical document per file when possible. Combining unrelated documents into a single file makes it harder to cite evidence precisely and can slow down review.
If an upload fails, retry with a shorter file name and confirm that the file is not corrupted or password-protected. If it still fails, contact support with the case name, file name, and a screenshot of the error.
